Shruti Sharma tops UPSC Civil Services Exam 2021; 685 selected

The Union Public Service Commission has announced the final result of the  Civil Services Examination, 2021.

Shruti Sharma is the topper among the 685 candidates who have got the selection for various posts in the All-India Civil Services, Central Services (Group A Services) and State Services (Group B Services). 

Three other women have bagged the 2nd, 3rd and fourth ranks. They are Ankita Agarwal, Gamini Singhal and Aishwarya Varma.

The result of the Main examination was announced on March 17. The personality test or interview was conducted from April 5 to May 26.

The preliminary examination that preceded the Mains was held in June.   

Out of the 685 candidates recommended for appointment 244 belongs to the general category, 73 to economically weaker section, 203 to other backward classes, 105 to scheduled caste and 60 to scheduled tribes.

A total of 180 selected candidates will be considered for IAS, 37 for IFS and 200 for IPS. The rest will be considered for central services group (A) and group (B) services.

  • A new PDF file will open where candidates can check the name and roll number of the candidate.
  • Download the PDF file and keep a hard copy of the same for further need.
