The NDA is the joint series for all three departments - the Armed Forces, the Navy and the Air Force are training together before heading to their service schools. UPSC offers the NDA exam; applicants who want to join the academy must attend thorough interviews with the SSB. SSB interview involves general ability, psychological assessment, team skills, physical and social skills, and medical examinations.
UPSC administers the NDA (National Defence
Academy) exam twice a year. It is one of India's most difficult tests and one
of the most popular among young people. Candidates who passed this difficult
exam were allowed to join the NDA in various departments.
The National Defence Academy (NDA) is a combined training service academy of India's armed services. Candidates from the Army, navy and air force are trained and then assigned to higher-ranking positions in their respective professions. This year the NDA 2 2021 exam is scheduled for 14th November 2021.
Academics at NDA
The NDA academic year has two terms: Spring
(January to May) and Autumn (July to December). For a total of six years,
cadets must undergo education three years before their degree of NDA. They also
receive training on outdoor skills, such as physical training, sports, and
games, in addition to their academic training. They are also playing games like
soccer, hockey, and basketball during the session.
Once the three-year course is completed
successfully, cadets are sent to their respective training schools for one year
before commissioning. The military cadets are sent to the Indian Military
Academy, the cadets of the navy to the Indian Navy Academy, and the air force
cadets to the Air Force.
Training at NDA
The joint training team welcomes cadets to NDA
(JTT). First, they are going through the two-month 'Orientation Capsule,'
psychologically and physically tougher. Then, outdoor- and indoor training have
been conferred by cadets. Finally, training in the hills and dense green
terrain around the NDA campus is carried out outside.
Theoretical and practical instruction is
included in indoor training. All cadets are trained in the same way until the
fifth term, whereas the sixth term focuses on service training. For five
months, cadets in the Army study certain tactics.
It comprises assessing distances, field
surveying, identifying landmarks, trench digging, day and night observations,
stalking, camouflage and concealment, field signals, fire control commands,
embassy, patrols, attacks, and the evacuation of casualties, etc. Specific
instruction is undertaken by the Air Force Training Team (AFTT), and flying
training begins in the VI semester.
Lifestyle and daily routine at NDA
Before starting the term, the cadet's daily
training program at the NDA is determined and followed until the finish. Then,
after a roll call, every cadet wakes up early in the morning, calls the doll
fall-in, and goes on their outdoor training, i.e., PT/Drill gruelling.
Cadets will return to their squadron after
PT/Drill. They're cooling up and going to breakfast. They rush to take lessons
in minutes after having breakfast in the Cadet's Mess. Time is of great
importance for cadets, and everybody should be able to reach the class on time
irrespective of whether they've had breakfast.
Life offered at NDA
Every candidate's experience after attending
the academy is the haircut representing cadets' identity in the outside world.
Every cadet has a bike, a school number, and a squadron, which essentially
becomes their home during the rest of their training.
Every cadet has its room. Life at
NDA is quite tough, and it makes the candidates tough and
serious. The cabins are always inspected, and the cadet's second child is
keeping everything in order. For the Inter Squadron championship, all squadrons
are competing for the best squadron for every squadron. This event demonstrates
teamwork and team spirit at its highest levels.
For one term, the winning squadron is entitled
to a Champion banner that is carried through throughout the parade and other
sporting meetings. NDA has never borne its cadets as many events, like quizzes,
debates, x-country, Boxing, sports, etc., occur at regular intervals. Although
the cadets have a rigid schedule, they may view the latest films in English and
Hindi.
Job details for NDA
UPSC offers the NDA job details as it is again
the prideful job of India. The UPSC Examination appoints workers each year at
the National Defence Academy, known as the NDA. In the National Defence and
Indian Naval Academy course, NDA has issued this year 400 vacant.
The Grade 1 officer, the NDA & NA test is
one of the greatest routes to join the Indian defence services. The NDA is an
Indian Armed Forces Joint Defence Service Training Center. Three service cadets

pre-commission service institution.

let women join NDA and NA courses. The Centre has asked for more time to
draught rules for women's admittance to the NDA and NA.
For this year's paper, the Centre has also
requested an exemption from allowing women to compete. The UPSC compiles a list
