UPSC Civil Services Prelims Exam 2017: Expected cut-off
The Union Public Service Commission Civil Services (Preliminary) exam 2017 was held on June 18.
While speaking to IndiaToday Education, most of the students found the paper difficult with General Studies (GS) section being the toughest.
Meanwhile, the unofficial answer keys of the preliminary examination have been released here .
Moreover, UPSC this year preponed the examination month of the civil services preliminary examination.
Earlier, the civil services preliminary examination was held in the month of August, but now after a gap of three years, the commission will be conducting the examination in the month of June.
UPSC Civil Services expected Cut-off:
According to AK Mishra, Director of Chanakya-IAS Academy, the cut-off for UPSC Civil Services preliminary examination would be as follows:
General: 116
OBC: 110
SC: 100
ST: 96
PH 1: 75
PH 2: 72
PH 3: 40
After the preliminary results will be declared, all the selected candidates will appear for the main exam which is scheduled to be held on October 10.
The civil services examination is conducted annually by the UPSC in three stages -- preliminary, main and interview.
Thousands of candidates take the test every year at various centres across the country.
