As per UPSC Exam Calendar 2017, the notification of the Civil Services Preliminary examination 2017 will be released on February 22. It is expected that the result of UPSC Civil Services IAS Mains 2016 will be declared before February 22. The result of IAS Mains 2016 is awaited since December. Now, the wait is going to be over soon. Candidates are anxious over the delay in results. UPSC can declare the result in few days as the candidates who did not achieve the result of IAS Mains 2016 as per their expectation can reappear for the upcoming UPSC Civil Services Preliminary examination 2017. Candidates will be able to apply for UPSC Civil Services Preliminary examination 2017 by March 2017. The examination will be conducted on June 18.
After the preliminary round, IAS Mains 2017 will be conducted for the successful candidates on October 10. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts the civil services examination for selecting eligible candidates for various administrative positions in All-India Services and central civil services including IAS, IFS, IRS, IPS and IRTS.
The commission releases exam notification and results at upsc.gov.in and candidates can apply online for the exams at upsconline.nic.in. UPSC Civil Services 2016 result has been delayed due to certain reasons. The result will out in some days.
